CRITICAL INCIDENT REPORTING

Step 1: Critical Incident Plan

Senior Race Officials should download and read the Critical Incident Plan to fully understand their role in the event of a critical incident.  Event Organizers are required to fill one out and have it ready for the Senior Race Officials to review prior to any EMSO event taking place.  A “critical incident” is defined as any incident that involves a serious injury or death to competitors, officials or spectators and requires hospitalization, during a EMSO sanction event.

Step 2: Critical Incident  Reporting

Event Organizer or Senior Race Official must report any critical
incident to EMSO as soon as the immediate emergency response has been given and
safety and security of the event has been restored.  Please fill in the
below details of the critical incident and submit the completed critical
incident report (Part B of the Critical Incident Plan).
